The Junior Deputy Program is a dynamic, school-based initiative that fosters leadership, responsibility, and positive decision-making in 5th-grade students. Led in partnership with Andrew County Sheriff School Resource Officers and Deputies, the program covers topics like drug prevention, internet safety, bullying, and respect for others. Students also participate in peer interviews and interactive activities that build trust, communication skills, and a sense of community pride—empowering them to be role models in and out of the classroom and developing relationships with our deputies and adults.
