City Administrator; Finance Director, City of Savannah, Missouri

Brooke Atha Bell has served the City of Savannah since 2008, currently serving as both City Administrator and Finance Director. With a strong foundation in municipal operations, Brooke brings over 15 years of progressive experience in local government, having previously held key roles including Utility Clerk, Deputy City Clerk, and City Clerk. Her commitment to professional development is reflected in her certifications: she holds the Missouri Professional City Clerk (MPCC) designation from MOCCFOA and is a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC).


Originally from Ethel, Missouri, Brooke graduated from Macon County R-IV High School and began her college education at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. She then earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Missouri Western State University in 2005.


Brooke and her husband, Jason, have been married since 2007 and are the proud parents to three daughters-Courtney, Jasey, and Atley. They also enjoy spending time with their son-in-law, Michael and granddaughter, Sutton.
Outside of work, Brooke is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoys reading, crafting, being outdoors, and an active volunteer for her beloved sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha.
