I am so grateful for the Andrew County Health and Safety Coalition. They have
supported us with so many valuable resources to help enhance our school counseling
program. Providing us with our elementary classroom guidance curriculum has been a
game changer. The young students I work with in the Kindergarten-2nd grade levels
absolutely love the lessons I bring them, and the characters that are part of those
lessons. The curriculum is fun, engaging and spot on with our state counseling
standards. Kids are learning about creating healthy lifestyles across the board; socially,
emotionally, physically and academically. I am incredibly thankful for the coalition and their support and care they continue to provide us with.

The Andrew County Health & Safety Coalition has been an invaluable partner in
bringing new and engaging prevention presentations to our students. Their suicide
prevention presentation was, by far, the most impactful and engaging session I’ve ever
experienced—and our students felt the same.

Partnering with the Andrew County Health & Safety Coalition board has significantly
increased my awareness and knowledge about what is available in Andrew County for
connecting residents to resources. The Coalition gives me a place to serve and meet
individuals who may need my services as the Youth Behavioral Health Liaison. It aligns
with the mission of my employment and the goals of my life in assisting individuals in
marginalized populations.

The coalition, namely Jessica has brought numerous and valuable educational
opportunities for our students. We appreciate the support in addressing important topics
for our youth while providing evidence-based programming. We look forward to additional opportunities that the coalition provides the students in our community for many years to come.
